Can you remember when you first realized that Learning & Development is where you professionally belong?

That moment when it clicked, where you said to yourself - this is what I'm meant to do.

I’d love to hear your story too, let’s talk in the comments below! 👇

When I look back on my own path in L&D, I realize how much community has shaped my growth. Being surrounded by people who share ideas, give feedback, and encourage learning made all the difference.

My father used to tell me when I was little: “You can be whatever you want in this life. You can build fire matches, as long as you're be the best at it.

That stuck with me. So, if I do something, I give it my best. And that's a must for me.

What I most appreciate from my family is that this was taught to me in the spirit of personal growth and respect — my biggest competitor is myself. And this makes a big, big difference on a long run.

I actually started my career in sales at a big bank. I was pretty good particularly in sales. What I liked most was working with the toughest clients and dealing with the “impossible" cases - those were my favorite. Nothing beats the feeling of proving impossible possible ...

At the same time, I was volunteering, running live workshops for students, and offering extra support locally on dynamic presentations within the bank — especially on investment products (my sweet spot at the time hahahaa).

That’s how I found myself supporting a national project, sharing my digital presentation skills and collaborating more and more with the HR branch. In time, this led to the proposal to come work as a full-time national-level trainer for the bank. I was young and sharky — I couldn’t say no to that challenge. But in my head, there was one bugging question:

Would I really be as good at this as I wish to? Would I be my best in this?

Because knowing something is one thing… but teaching it is another.

So, I took the challenge. After a few months, driving home from a session, I had that ikigai moment — realizing that you're doing what you love, what you’re good at, something that energizes you and gives you real purpose and financial stability at the same time.

What do I know for sure? I couldn’t have done any of it without mentors along the way — in the form of managers, colleagues, and learners.

Connecting with people, learning from each other, and supporting growth is the most sustainable way to succeed in any career.

That’s why I’m a proud, active member of the iSpring Learning Exchange LinkedIn group — it’s an amazing networking playground for all L&D professionals.

Coming back to my story: I blended my passion for sales with learning. My job? It’s not just to teach people — it’s to sell curiosity and drive for learning.

And digital learning is what I fell in love with — it removes time and space limits. You create a tool for people to access whenever and wherever they need it. That’s what I love about iSpring? The Suite makes it easy to build engaging courses, and the Learn platform lets you share them globally — anytime, anywhere, online or offline, on web or mobile, you name it!

After almost 10 years in the field, this year I decided to open my own business and offer my digital learning services worldwide.

My biggest challenge? Portfolio.

Working as an employee meant that most of my work stayed private — so I had to start from scratch, and fast.

Joining the iSpring Course Creation Contest was the perfect opportunity to:

✅ Build new courses

✅ Get valuable feedback

✅ Grow with a community

✅ Start shaping my own brand

And here I am: previous winner of the PRO category, and now a mentor ready to support anyone brave enough to take part of the current contest.l

There are still a few days left. Are you up for the challenge? Take this opportunity and register now 👉 iSpring Course Creation Contest | Sign up free
